Pinewood – The American International School of Thessaloniki, Greece is an independent, non-profit PK-12 school offering an internationally-enriched American college preparatory curriculum and International Baccalaureate Diploma Program to students from the international and local communities. The Position

The Business Manager (BM) is the school’s leading support staff professional and works as part of the leadership team to assist the Director in ensuring that the school meets its educational aims and ensures compliance with legal requirements, needs and government regulations. The BM is responsible for financial management, administrative offices management, ICT Systems management, human resources management and health and safety management of the school.

The BM must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong financial and business background with experience or knowledge in budgeting, accounting, purchasing, inventory, finance and tax policies.

The BM must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in both English and Greek, especially when dealing with employees, parents, suppliers, collaborators and authorities.  Multitasking and organizational skills are necessary as well as being comfortable with delegating tasks and managing employees.

The BM should preferably have a strong IT background in both hardware and software and be updated on new developments including AI, telecommunications, social media, apps etc… to further develop the schools Communication & IT strategy to offering online courses, and improve client relationship and School visibility.
