Anthony Nemecek is the co-founder of Nemecek Bonas Macfarlane (NBM) Educational Consultancy working with individuals looking to study abroad.  His previous work as the founder of AJ Nemecek Education worked not only with students/families, but also with institutions seeking to increase international enrolment. Additionally, he works closely with several UK secondary schools providing seminars and in-service events for staff, students and parents. In 2007, Anthony established the US office for UCTV, then the fastest growing Higher Education website in the world. Previously, Anthony was the Director of the US Educational Advisory Service (EAS), the US-UK Fulbright Commission based in London. In this role, Anthony was responsible for representing over 4,000 Higher Education institutions and promoting education in the USA. During his tenure at Fulbright, Anthony conducted marketing higher education seminars in Europe, the USA and Asia.

Before coming to Fulbright, Anthony was the Manager, Courses and Enrolment for the Open University. Previously, he was the Director of Admissions and Academic Programmes for East Surrey College and a lecturer in English and Media Studies.  Anthony has taught at the secondary and university levels both in the USA and the UK. He holds an M.Ed from John Carroll University and a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. He is an alumnus of the Fulbright programme to the UK.  Anthony is regularly invited to speak on the US and UK admissions processes and frequently writes for the British national press, in addition to appearing on national and international television and radio programmes. Anthony co-authored both ‘Uni in the USA’ and ‘Uni in the USA and Beyond (2011) published by The Good Schools Guide, Lucas Publications Ltd.

In addition to his consultancy work, Anthony currently holds US HE counsellor roles at the Lycee Francais Charles De Gaulle, London (UK), Epsom College, Epsom (UK) and at the Moscow Cadet Corps Boarding School for Girls/Ministry of Defence, Russia.
